Since 1980, the Merry Christmas Tree Farm has been providing families with a heart-warming, old fashioned Christmas experience. From choosing trees in the field to cut, browsing precut trees, sipping on a cup of hot chocolate, or talking with Santa Claus, we guarantee you and your family will find what you’re looking for. We are located in Central, South Carolina, nestled near the Blue Ridge mountains. Families from across the Upstate and beyond come to explore our farm and choose the tree that is just right for them.

The options for choose and cut trees are Leyland & Murray Cypress, Carolina Blue Sapphire, Blue Ice, Eastern Red Cedar, White Pine, Virginia Pine and Clemson Greenspire. In addition to these trees, we have a wide selection of Fraser Firs from the mountains of North Carolina.

Wreaths are made freshly from the boughs of our trees. Charlie Brown trees are available for children. Just ask one of our farmhands for assistance and they should be able to direct you in the right direction.

We open Thanksgiving Day until sold out, or December 22nd. Come and celebrate with us as we take on this new adventure!

Tree Prices

Choose-and-cut trees from the field are $10 per foot. We do not allow any trees to be cut that are under 5’ tall. These fellas take a while to grow and time for shaping.

Our Frasier firs range from $80-$375 depending on the size and quality of the tree. They range from 6’-12’. We may have a few a little larger.

Note, we DO NOT reserve trees for customers. We are on a first-come-first-serve basis only.
